House Rules

Welcome to apartment Mariposa, a place where luxury and comfort come together at the beautiful Jan Sofat LUX resort on Curacao. These house rules indicate how we would like you to treat apartment Mariposa and its inventory. We have drawn up a few rules and hope that you can agree with them. These house rules are intended to provide you with a pleasant and trouble-free stay. We would like to ask you to adhere to these rules and wish you a wonderful and pleasant stay!

Check-in/out

Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM and check-out until 11:00 AM at the latest. You can arrange a time with our controlled Susana. She can be reached at + 5999 520 3233. If you prefer a different time, please let us know. We will then see what the possibilities are.

Cleaning and waste

We request that you keep apartment Mariposa clean and tidy. Throw the waste in the designated containers. Next to the entrance of Jan Sofat LUX there are bins where you can throw your waste.

No smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Of course this is allowed outside on the terrace, please tidy up the filters.

Locks and keys

Close doors and windows properly when you leave the apartment. If you lose a key we will charge an amount of 90 EUR.

Furniture

Moving furniture is not allowed. We would like to ask you not to move the furniture from the interior outside. We have provided comfortable garden furniture outside. Of course you can eat outside and use the crockery and cutlery.

Silence and prohibited activities

Between 22:00 and 08:00 it is quiet time. Make sure that residents and fellow residents are not bothered or inconvenienced. It is not allowed to organize illegal activities or parties in the apartment or the resort.

Maximum number of guests

The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults. A stay of more people than stated on the reservation is not permitted. Visitors can be registered and come by in consultation.

Pets

Pets are not permitted at the resort or in the apartment.

Swimming pool

Swimming is at your own risk. Respect the peace of other guests at the pool. Do not use glassware at the pool.

Damage and liability

Report damage or problems immediately. Unreported damage may be charged.

Incidents

In case of emergency, call the local emergency service immediately via 911 and then inform us.

Loss, theft, damage and liability:

1. Personal belongings:

We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings of guests during their stay. Make sure you store valuables properly.

2. Damage to the apartment:

Guests are responsible for damage or loss caused by their negligence, careless use or violation of the house rules. Any repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest. Please report any damage or problems immediately upon check-in.

3. Accidents and injuries:

Use of the apartment, facilities and swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. We are not liable for injuries or accidents that occur in or around the apartment or resort.

Respect the peace of other guests at the pool. Do not use glasses at the pool.

4. Emergencies:

In the event of an emergency (for example fire, storm damage or burglary), please contact our manager Susana immediately.

5. Loss of keys:

In the event of loss of keys, we will charge €90 per lost key.

We have done everything we can to prepare the Mariposa apartment for you, so that you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible during your stay. We would therefore like to ask you to treat the Mariposa apartment with care, so that at the end of the rental period it is left exactly as you found it when you checked in.
